About Nicole Anderson
Nicole brings administrative, development, writing, communication and marketing work experience to the role of Administrative Assistant for Safer States. She studied Journalism & English at Miami University and began her career managing marketing projects at the tourism and convention bureau for Columbus, Ohio. After moving to Oregon, she had part-time marketing stints at a local boutique and at a start-up brewery while being fortunate enough to stay home with her children. Nicole has spent the past several years in public school advocacy leadership roles and raised thousands as the auction chair for a Portland non profit. She loves local and world travel, audiobooks narrated by people with cool accents, trying to figure out Severance with her husband, embarrassing her now teen sons whenever possible and napping with her pups, Piper and Tater Tot.
